OUR PROGRAMS

 

Daily After School Program

 

Welcome to Scholastic Advancement Concepts After School Program (SAC-ASP) - Our program serves children from Elementary School to Junior High School and follows the school district’s school calendar, from school dismissal (including on half days!) until 6:00 PM.  The program begins on the first Monday of the school year and ends on the last full day of school. Our After School Programs do not run when the schools close due to inclement weather or other school emergencies.   

 

In order to maintain consistency and to accommodate working parents or guardians who required the same child care daily regardless of school schedule or holiday, we offer a Child Care program called “SAC-Special Program” (SAC-SP) for most of the days that the school district is scheduled to be closed plus winter recess and summer programs. 

 

Our goal is for your child to participate in project-based activities, finish homework assignments, and get physical exercise every day that school is in session. We work closely with parents, teachers and school administrators to provide the sports, arts and enrichment activities necessary to give your child a well-rounded education. 

 

The daily activities include - A healthy snack provided by the program, activity time that may include art, crafts, games, dance, outdoor play/organized recreation and a designated quiet time when homework is encouraged.  

 

A Tutor may be available one weekly to assist those students who request help with their assignments. This is a group tutorial and not intended as one-on-one tutoring.  Special enrichment programs are scheduled in advance.  Please refer to our activities calendar for details.  

 

With SAC After-School programs, working parents are confident that their children are learning and playing in a safe and supportive environment after school.
